Sherri Murphy is the founder of Elite Connections. Originally from New Mexico she has a warm and friendly southwestern attitude and is a natural people person. Sherri finds the job of introducing single people a fulfilling one and has done it all her life. Her philosophy is that there is someone out there for everyone, but you won't find them while sitting at home. You have to be proactive. Sherri believes that if you are not meeting the right person you need to have an open mind and try a new route. Her style of matchmaking has worked for many Elite clients and she now works with mostly VIP and international clients.

Sherri moved to Southern California from Mammoth in 1976, sold real estate for over 13 years and walked into the matchmaking business by sheer fate. In 1994, someone offered her free membership to Great Expectations but she declined. Later met her husband Bill through a personal matchmaker, this inspired her to launch her own company in 1994. She opened her first Elite Connections office in Beverly Hills in 1996.

Sherri has hosted a black tie fundraiser for over a decade that benefits needy children. People fly in from as far as NY for the event annually. This is a fabulous event and she's had marriages from people that have attended. She's also a huge animal lover and recently hosted her first fundraiser for a new animal rescue (Pug Nation LA).

Sherri’s company, Elite Connections has been featured on NBC, The New York Times, Forbes, Variety, Beverly Hills Magazine, Westside Magazine, Westlake Magazine, "Successful Singles Magazine", "Love Works" TV Show, "Love on the Edge" radio talk show and many local newspapers. Sherri is coauthor of "Matters of the Heart", a popular dating advice column that appeared in a South Bay newspaper for many years. For Sherri, her biggest satisfaction is seeing people happy together, and when there are engagements and marriages it's even more rewarding.

Tamara was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California. She graduated from CSU Channel Islands with her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She has worked with Elite Connections since 2000, and is currently Elite Connections VP. A fabulous matchmaker, Tammi meets with clients from Santa Barbara to Orange County. She's part of the Elite Team that will travel to meet Premium VIP members in other states and countries.

Tammi has also graciously donated her time at every Party With A Purpose fundraiser and the Children's Christmas parties. She has managed Elite's silent auction for the last seven years and in doing so has collected thousands of dollars’ worth of silent auction and raffle prizes. Keri Roberts

Born and raised in Southern California, Keri Roberts graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with dual degrees in English and Spanish. During the mid 80's, she worked in various facets of the entertainment industry for Telepictures Corporation and Triad Artists, Inc. She has served as a Unit Production Manager in film and as a photo stylist for W Magazine and Women's Wear Daily.

Keri began her career at an upscale South Bay dating agency--first as a client and then as a staff member. In her first month on the job, she met her own match in prospective client Ken Roberts. They married in 1995, and as a true success story Keri remained dedicated to the business that helped her and dozens of other couples find true love. With her wide scope of contacts, natural knack for networking and genuine passion for guiding people toward their ideal relationship, Keri has introduced the concept of personal matchmaking to hundreds of Los Angeles men and women who swore they would never resort to such an approach. After almost two decades in the matchmaking business, she has seen many couples find each other and the stigma toward matchmaking dissipate. In July of 1998, Keri joined forces with Sherri Murphy of Elite Connections. Together, they share conviction, passion and a dignified approach which helped introduced both of them to their own husbands.

Sena Schmidt

A Los Angeles, California native, Sena Schmidt joined the Elite Connections team with extensive experience and knowledge in the industry of upscale matchmaking. With degrees in journalism and sociology from California State University, Northridge, her career background includes writing and copy editing for a variety of local and international magazines, as well as her own online relationship column that featured articles on sex, relationships and dating.

Sena brings to the team an approachable and genuine persona, is an empathetic listener and offers a unique perspective on what men and women want out of their personal relationships. In her career as a matchmaker, Sena has been responsible for many engagements, marriages and exclusive commitments from the happy clients she has worked for.

Lana Peters

Lana has worked at Elite Connections since 2004 and is a major asset to staff and clients. She was raised in Thousand Oaks, CA and works out of the Westlake Village office. Lana graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with an option in Management. She has taken courses in Marriage and family relationships, human sexuality and psychology. Lana puts together our client’s wonderful profiles and beautifully coordinates daily office tasks. She’s a fabulous people person and all the clients think highly of her. Lana has annually volunteered at Elite's annual “Party with a Purpose” fundraiser.

Rosemary Packard
Matchmaker | Orange County

Rosemary Packard proudly joined forces with Elite Connections in 2002 as a member of the Orange County matchmaking team. She brings many years of matchmaking experience with her. Formerly the owner of Introductions by Rosemary, she has proven herself with the many marriages and couples she has single-handedly brought together. She handles every match with the utmost integrity and care.

As an accomplished dating coach and matchmaker, Rosemary has helped hundreds of singles find love. She has spoken on the topic of dating throughout Southern California. A California native, she attended San Diego State University, CSU, Fullerton, where she earned a B.S. degree and teaching credential. She has been featured in the Orange Coast Magazine as one of the top entrepreneurs in Orange County, as well as being interviewed on the Channel 4 News, many regional magazines and radio shows.

Heidi Balog

Heidi is an outgoing people person, born and raised in Graz, Austria and, in 1986, moved to Los Angeles.  She is fluent in English and German.  She’s worked as a model, in real estate, law office management, consultant to a prominent Beverly Hills surgeon and marketing a high-end Swiss watch company (holds a degree in Diamond grading).

Heidi has lived and worked throughout Europe. Her broad travel experience, as well as her numerous business and social contacts, makes her uniquely qualified to serve as a Matchmaker for men and women of distinction.  She’s studied both astrology and numerology and loves both fields.  If desired, Heidi can include sign compatibility to assess match love partners.

Janis Black

Janis is a natural matchmaker and brings sunshine, a positive attitude and give a positive outlook to everyone she works with. She grew up in Beverly Hills, California. She was the most outstanding business student at Beverly High. and later went to USC and studied Business Management.She worked at HBO in Business Affairs, California Feather & Down where she created her line of beauty, body and travel pillows.

She is the owner of her own unique bedding business, PillowTalk Studio in Beverly Hills. Janis was very well known while working at Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet Store, not only for motivating her customers, but for introducing them to each other. She is a people person and learned from her father, Stanley how to match people. Most importantly she has to meet both parties and she gets excited and is not shy to put people together with her magic intuition. She wrote her first book of inspirations in 2004 by following her Grandfather, Jack and Father Stanley with their books of inspiration. She is currently writing her second book of inspirations.She is on the board of LA Ort Technical School, Vista Del Mar and The Jewish Federation Cabinet. She has created many jazz festivals, comedy events and singles events.She has worked in the infomercial business doing acting, casting and producing beauty, fitness and health products.

Jennifer Meyers

Jennifer Meyers was born and raised in Potomac, Maryland. Jennifer graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, specializing in Spanish & Theater. After graduation she moved to New York City where she pursued an acting career that brought her to Los Angeles.

She hosts & produces comedy shows, works on movies & television. While pursuing her dream she got her real estate license in 2005, and she also substitute teaches in the exclusive private schools of Los Angeles. She was introduced to Sherri Murphy through a friend who told Jennifer she would be an amazing matchmaker. Jennifer had set up friends of hers that went on to marry. When Sherri met Jennifer, it was destined that Jennifer be at matchmaker at Elite Connections as she was a perfect fit to the team. Jennifer also hosts mixers for young professionals to mingle & network.

Collin received her bachelor of arts at UCSB, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on working with couples. Her educational and personal background provides her with necessary skills and experience to find clients an ideal match based on personal attributes and chemistry. Florida Matchmaker & Dating Coach

Jeanmarie is our Florida matchmaker and she meets people in many areas other than or Miami office. Until 5 years ago she was in the acting industry for 16 years. Originally studying directing in college she worked as a Production Assistant in the New York Director's Guild. She was also an assistant camera person for Astoria Studios, in Queens, NY. This has led to playing various roles on many TV shows and the soap opera, "One Life To Live."

She is presently the founder of Heart 2 Heart, an organization that sets up charity events where people can cultivate new personal and professional relationships. It has been her greatest inspiration. It is truly a gift to be given the chance to inspire people to constantly improve their lives and heighten their goals through meeting others.
